Maryam grew up in Toronto, Canada and holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics. She moved to Auckland in 2019 and is currently a chiropractic intern. Maryam is the host of Revive, the organisation’s Instagram live broadcasts with women around the world who are leading and making change. 

Maryam’s interest to host Revive comes from her passion for discussing issues related to religion, leadership, the society and women. She enjoys talking to people and learning new perspectives that may challenge the norm.
